NOTE: Clause 52 of the new Resource Management (Simplifying and Streamlining) Amendment Bill 2009 has banned the blanket protection to trees over a certain size in urban areas. What this means is that as of January 1, 2012 you will be free to cut down ANY tree that is not listed in the council’s district plan. So if you have a currently protected tree that you want rid of, this could be your chance. Call now to make a booking.
